Diamondback Atroz 3

Retail Prices: $1.499.99

With the Atroz 3, we took the proven and refined single-pivot full-suspension design and upped the ante in a big way. It’s a full RockShox affair when it comes to suspension, including the five-inch travel Recon RL air-sprung fork with 32mm stanchions and a quick release thru-axle. Likewise, we outfitted this model with SRAM’s NX 11-speed drivetrain — all the simplicity and durability of a single-ring drivetrain, with the low gearing you once needed a front derailleur to obtain. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power (particularly with 180mm rotors, front and rear), and we finished the bike off with a Race Face Chester bar and stem combo.

Bicycle Warehouse Pique 2

Retail Prices: $1.650.99

Gone are the days when you need to choose a bike based on whether you want to go fast uphill or fast downhill. With low stand-over height, you’ll find greater balance on the bike during those tougher trail negotiations on rocky, rooty sections, uphill ledges and downhill drops. Pique inspires confident, agile downhill ripping and will help you tackle the uphill with traction aboard 120 mm of Maestro suspension. The 27.5-inch wheel size ensures that bike handling is still nimble and playful, while maintaining the stable cornering and bump-reducing qualities of a larger wheel size.

Diamondback Release 1

Retail Prices: $1.890.99

The Diamondback Release 1 begins with their Level Link suspension system, which isolates chain forces from trail inputs. Or to employ less tech-geek speak, the suspension doesn’t bob when you stomp on the pedals yet becomes extremely plush the moment your wheels start smacking roots and rocks. Thru-axles front, and rear add stiffness to improve steering precision when the trail gets rough. The 27.5” Diamondback Blanchard wheels are tubeless compatible, so you can install tubeless tires for even more traction and control. For all-day adventures, bike park outings, and all-round trail ripping, the Release 1 trail bike is ready for action.
